Although at this point that really shouldn't surprise me. I loved this book! I will admit to having a bit of a bias against Helena at the start due to the backstory from Chaos Burning. The way she treated her sister really bugged me coming from a family where family is so important, but Helena definitely redeemed herself in this one. I was also glad to see Gage and Molly in this book, and was happy that Gage has finally stepped up and acted like I expected him to act in the last book. It was nice to see Cardinian, Mei and Jayce again, even if only briefly, and Faine was awesome. But I expected nothing less after meeting Simon in Chaos Burning. This was a great book, with a well paced story line. I love her characterization of the Lycians and how strong and protective they are without becoming completely controlling and overbearing. That is a tough balance to communicate. I liked how he didn't play games once he realized Helena was the one he wanted. He just accepted it and went for it with a patience and steadfastness that most don't have today. I'm sure I will be reading this again in the future.

Lauren Dane delivers again. Warning - hot steamy sex, great story. You won't be able to put it down. So get comfortable ,lower the lights, signal the music, get your wine and get ready to enjoy your night.
I liked the series. good plots, good characterizations, romance was lovely. I get fed up, tho, with how people in general are portrayed in books and movies to hate others who are different when crisis hits society. Kinda like a bad "b" disaster movie...lets believe MOST people won't go there, please?
This is the final book in the Bound by Magick series and it kicks all sorts of butt! Fair warning as this is the last book of the series, I'd highly suggest reading the previous books to familiarize yourself with all the couples and storylines. Each book does stand alone as far as the couples storyline but the events surrounding them are interlinked.

The couple in this book is Faine Leviathan and Helena Jaansen, who we've met in previously and have established there is a connection between them. Well at least on Faine's side, as this seriously gorgeous Lycian has fallen for our kick-butt heroine, Helena. She has been one of my favorite characters since her introduction, so I was completely thrilled with this being her story. I thought Helena and Faine were perfect for each other.

The story arc in this series has been sufficiently concluded as of Wild Darkness. However, the series contains both Cascadia Pack and the de la Vega Jamboree, I expect to see glimpses of these characters in the future. My only real issue with the story was that the ending felt a tiny bit rushed. There were a lot of developments and things to work through in the book, almost enough for another full story.

The Bound by Magick series had excellent characters, great storylines, and well crafted world-building. I will fully admit I'm a huge fan of Lauren Dane's books, she is one of the few authors that I still continue to pre-order and auto-buy every book. I highly suggest this book and this entire series to anyone that loves a good, steamy paranormal romance that has feisty female leads, and sexy, strong, Alpha males. ~ Reviewed by Chris

I really enjoyed Faine and Helena's story. It's difficult for me to say which couple's story I enjoyed more theirs or Lark and Simon's. I believe as the battles became more dangerous the sexual tension increased for everyone in Wild Darkness. The only thing that really disappoints me is that I won't know what happened with Tosh and Delilah. If you're a fan of Lauren Dane's writing I can assure you that Wild Darkness will be worth the price.
Helena Jaansen is head of security in the ever-escalating war against most paranormals. Witches, Weres, and even vampires need to work together to thwart the mages and normals whop seek to exterminate them. Helena's personal guard, Faine Leviathan, was introduced in an earlier novel as a powerful and likeable force of nature, and when he finds himself attracted to Helena, he is irresistible. Good plot, great continuation of the series.
Helena and Faine !!! Love a Lauren Dane tale ! Faine and Helena are a very romantic, sexy couple. The Others and the humans are warring, and someone needs to keep peace. Interesting characters, different tale of paranormal species working together, and good suspense. I loved the manner of Faine and his brother, Simon. The way they love their women, the manner of speaking their feelings, etc. Awesome ! The "Binding Ceremony" is wonderful. Totally enthralling and full of feeling.

I read all of the other books in all three series (13 books!) and was VERY disappointed at how the story ended in this final book. There was a lot of build up and dragging the ending out and then NOTHING. The whole big story was wrapped up in one page - what the heck!!! The Others talked about all this power they had - everyone pulled together - the humans created all the trouble - and the Others did nothing! She had them do nothing! These books could have been written SO much better and been great. VERY disappointing.
